Το 15ο «ΥΠΕΡΚΟΠΕΛΙ» έρχεται φέτος στις 6 Οκτωβρίου στους Αγίους Αποστόλους

 Αποτελεί μία διοργάνωση – θεσμό πια για τον Σύλλογο «Ορίζοντα» και κατ’ επέκταση για την στήριξη παιδιών και ενηλίκων που πάσχουν από καρκίνο. Μία Διοργάνωση που δεν θα μπορούσε να διεξαχθεί χωρίς την καθοριστική συμβολή της αθλητικής παρέας του «Ορίζοντα», των εθελοντών του Συλλόγου, του Δήμου Χανίων, των σωμάτων ασφαλείας και των εθελοντικών ομάδων και πολλών άλλων που προσφέρουν την πολύτιμη βοήθεια τους.

Μια διοργάνωση γεμάτη με πολλές δράσεις, αθλητικές, ψυχαγωγικές, πολιτιστικές, όλες με πνεύμα αλληλοστήριξης και αλληλεγγύης.

Την Κυριακή 6 Οκτωβρίου ξεκινάμε με τους αγαπημένους σε όλους μας πια αγώνες του Υπερκοπελιού: το «Υπερκοπελάκι» στις 11:00 και το «Υπερκοπέλι» στις 12:30, αγώνες τριάθλου ερασιτεχνικού χαρακτήρα για μικρούς και μεγάλους. Ένας αγώνας αλλιώτικος από τους άλλους, ένας «αγώνας για τη ζωή», με σκοπό τη συμμετοχή και όχι τη νίκη, χωρίς κατακτήριες θέσεις και επίσημη χρονομέτρηση. Το απόγευμα της ίδιας ημέρας στις 17:00, θα διεξαχθούν οι «Ανοιχτοί Ορίζοντες», ένας αγώνας δρόμου δυναμικού περπατήματος 5χλμ, χωρίς χρονομέτρηση και κατάταξη, στον οποίον οι συμμετέχοντες θα προσφέρουν το κόστος της συμμετοχής τους (5 ευρώ) σε όποιο σωματείο/ίδρυμα της πόλης μας επιθυμούν: Κέντρο Ημέρας Νόσου Alzheimer Χανίων, Κέντρο Πρόληψης των Εξαρτήσεων και Προαγωγής της Ψυχοκοινωνικής Υγείας Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Χανίων, Κέντρο Ημερήσιας Φροντίδας – Απασχόλησης Ατόμων με Αναπηρία Κ.Η.Φ.Α.ΑΜΕΑ, Σύλλογος Γονέων, Κηδεμόνων και Φίλων ατόμων με ήπιες διαταραχές Αυτιστικού Φάσματος ΑSPERGER Χανιά, Σύλλογος "Ορίζοντας", ΕΛΕΠΑΠ ΧΑΝΙΩΝ, Ξενώνας Φιλοξενίας Γυναικών του Δήμου Χανίων, Αρίων Χανίων – Αθλητικό Σωματείο Ατόμων με Αναπηρία, Συσσίτια Σπλάντζιας, Περιφερειακό Τμήμα ΕΕΣ Χανίων, Ομάδα Στήριξης "ΣΥΝΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΣ", Παγκρήτιος Αθλητικός Σύλλογος Κινητικά Αναπήρων και Παραπληγικών "Αετοί Κρήτης", Κοινωνική Κουζίνα "Ο Άλλος Άνθρωπος", Κέντρο Ημερήσιας Φροντίδας Αυτιστικών Παιδιών «ΜΕΓΑΛΟΧΑΡΗ», Κεντρικό Συσσίτιο Ιεράς Μητρόπολης Κυδωνίας & Αποκορώνου, Φιλοζωικός Σύλλογος Χανίων "Η Προστασία των Ζώων" και Ελληνική Ομάδα Διάσωσης- Βάση Ετοιμότητας Χανίων.

Συμμετέχουν σε virtual μορφή από την υπόλοιπη Κρήτη και την Ελλάδα οι:

Αμέσως μετά θα ακολουθήσει το πιλάφι party, με σουβλάκια, μπίρες, αναψυκτικά και μουσική στην παραλία!
Όλη η διοργάνωση έχει ως σκοπό την ενημέρωση του κόσμου, την ευαισθητοποίηση για τα προγράμματα του συλλόγου μας, την προώθηση του εθελοντισμού, την προβολή του έργου και άλλων σωματείων/ιδρυμάτων/κοινωνικών δομών και τη συγκέντρωση χρημάτων για την στήριξη των οικογενειών που έχουν ανάγκη.

· Επίσης, ισχύουν οι ομαδικές συμμετοχές (3 – 4 ατόμων) με ή χωρίς συμμετέχοντα ΑΜΕΑ

Εκτός όμως από τους αγώνες που πραγματοποιούνται δια ζώσης, μπορεί κανείς να συμμετέχει από όπου και αν βρίσκεται. Το 2020 η διοργάνωση πραγματοποιήθηκε για πρώτη φορά σε virtual* μορφή! Το γνωστό σε όλους «Υπερκοπέλι» έγινε «e- περκοπέλι»!
*Τι είναι τα Virtual Races?
Πρόκειται για εικονικούς αγώνες που ο καθένας μπορεί να συμμετέχει από όπου κι αν βρίσκεται, αρκεί να περπατήσει/τρέξει/κολυμπήσει/ποδηλατήσει, συγκεκριμένη απόσταση που ορίζεται από το είδος του αγώνα και να το καταγράψει με ένα smart watch, band ή ένα απλό app στο κινητό.

Θα διεξαχθεί 6 – 16 Οκτωβρίου.
Κόστος Συμμετοχής: 15 ευρώ δωρεά στον Σύλλογο «Ορίζοντα» + 5 ευρώ έξοδα αποστολής εξοπλισμού
· 600m κολύμπι, 21km ποδήλατο και 6km τρέξιμο.
· Κάθε συμμετέχοντας μπορεί να επιλέξει την ημέρα, την ώρα (εντός του προκαθορισμένου χρονικού διαστήματος: 6/10-16/10/24) και την τοποθεσία (εντός και εκτός Ελλάδας), που επιθυμεί να ολοκληρώσει τον αγώνα του.
· Οι συμμετοχές είναι έγκυρες εφόσον γίνει καταγραφή από smart watch, band ή ένα απλό app στο κινητό και προαιρετικά φωτογραφία (προσωπική, τον εξοπλισμό τους ή την τοποθεσία).
· Η συμμετοχή περιλαμβάνει: αναμνηστικό τεχνικό t-shirt της Διοργάνωσης, σκουφάκι, bib number, μετάλλιο, έπαινο και αναμνηστικά δώρα.
· Επίσης, ισχύουν οι ομαδικές συμμετοχές (3 – 4 ατόμων) με ή χωρίς συμμετέχοντα ΑΜΕΑ, με τη δυνατότητα δημιουργίας ομάδας, όπου οι συμμετέχοντες θα μπορούν να ολοκληρώσουν τον αγώνα τους όλοι μαζί ή να μοιραστούν τα αθλήματα, ακόμη και σε διαφορετικά μέρη της Ελλάδας ή του Εξωτερικού.

Ο Σύλλογος Εθελοντικής Προσφοράς και Στήριξης «Ορίζοντας» ιδρύθηκε το 2004 στα Χανιά (αρ. 210/2004 απόφαση του Πρωτοδικείου Χανίων, με πιστοποίηση από το Εθνικό Μητρώο Φορέων Ιδιωτικού Τομέα και το Ειδικό Μητρώο Εθελοντικών μη κυβερνητικών Οργανώσεων), είναι μη κερδοσκοπικού χαρακτήρα σύλλογος και δραστηριοποιείται στα πλαίσια του εθελοντισμού. Σκοπός του είναι η στήριξη παιδιών και ενηλίκων που πάσχουν από καρκίνο (οικονομική ενίσχυση, φιλοξενία στους 5 ξενώνες που διαθέτει στην Αθήνα, εξασφάλιση εισιτηρίων μετακίνησης από και προς τον τόπο θεραπείας, κάλυψη εξόδων εξετάσεων και θεραπειών που δεν καλύπτονται από τα ασφαλιστικά ταμεία, κτλ) καθώς και η προώθηση του εθελοντισμού (διοργάνωση εκδηλώσεων, ενημερωτικών δράσεων, εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων και αθλητικών event).

15th “HYPERKOPELI” event is coming up this year in Agioi Apostoloi on October 6, 2024!
It is already an event – institution for “Horizondas” Association and, thus, for the support of children and adults suffering from cancer; an event that could not run without the determining contribution of “Horizondas” athletic group, the Association’s volunteers, the Municipality of Chania, the law enforcement bodies and the volunteer teams, as well as many others offering their valuable help.
It is an event full of many athletic, recreational and cultural activities, all of which are characterized by a spirit of mutual support and solidarity.
On Sunday, October 6, we are starting with our already favourite-to-all “Hyperkopeli’s” races : “Hyperkopelaki” at 11:00 and “Hyperkopeli” at 12:30, both of which are triathlon races for non-experts, for younger and older ones. These are races different from the others, “races for life”, with participation and not victory as their purpose, without rankings and official timing. In the afternoon of the same day, at 17:00, “Anoihtoi Horizondes”, a 5km dynamic walking race, without timing and ranking, will be conducted. In this race, participants will have the chance to offer the cost of their participation (5 Euros) to the local association/foundation of their choice:

The whole event aims at informing of the general public, consciousness raising about our Association’s programs, promotion of volunteerism, presentation of the work of other associations/foundations/social units and fundraising for
the support of families in need.

*What are “Virtual Races” ?
“Virtual Races” are virtual races where anybody interested may participate regardless of location, as long as they
walk/run/swim/cycle for a specific distance set from the type of the race and record it using a smart watch, a band or a
simple app on their mobile phone.

Event Period : October 6, 2024 – October 16, 2024
Participation Fee : 15 Euro donation to “Horizondas” Association + 5 Euros (equipment shipping costs)
· 600m swimming, 21km cycling και 6km running
· All participants may choose the day, the time (within the preset time period : October 6, 2024 – October 16, 2024) and
the location (inside and outside Greece), where they wish to complete their race.
· Participations are valid as long as a recording via a smart watch, a band or a simple app on the mobile phone is made
and a (optional) face, equipment or location photo is sent.
· The Participation Fee includes the following : a souvenir Event dry-fit t-shirt, a swimming cap, a Bib Number, a medal,
an award and souvenir gifts.
· Also, Group Participations (3 – 4 persons), with or without a PWSN participant, are valid, with the possibility of
creating a team whose participants may complete their race all together or share the sports, even in different places of
Greece or abroad.

The Association of Volunteer Offering and Support under the name “Horizondas” was founded in Chania in 2004
(Judgment no. 210/2004 of the First Instance Court of Chania, accompanied by a certification by the National Registry of
Private Sector Non-Profit Organizations and the Special Registry of Voluntary Non-Governmental Organizations). It is a
non-profit organization and operates within the framework of volunteerism. Its main missions are the support of children
and adults suffering from cancer (financial support, accommodation at the Association’s guesthouses in Athens, ticket
booking to and from therapy location, covering of medical examination and therapy costs that are not covered by
insurance funds etc.), as well as the promotion of volunteerism (organization of events, information events, educational
programs and athletic events).
